About John M. LeBlanc

John LeBlanc is a litigation partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office focusing on matters affecting the health care industry. Mr. LeBlanc represents many of the nation’s leading insurers and health plans, including the largest not-for-profit health care service plan in California.

Mr. LeBlanc has extensive experience, successfully handling hundreds of cases at the state and federal level. He not only serves as counsel to his clients, but acts as a strategic advisor, providing representation on a wide variety of day-to-day legal matters. Mr. LeBlanc is the lead co-author of the health insurance and managed care section of the popular and respected Insurance Litigation Practice Guide, published by The Rutter Group.

About Robert K. Renner

Robert Renner is a partner in the firm's Newport Beach office. His expertise includes all aspects of business litigation - with a particular emphasis on insurance coverage work - in both state and federal courts, from the initiation of the lawsuit through any appeal.

Mr. Renner’s insurance-related practice primarily involves individual and group insurance contract disputes, but he has handled cases arising in virtually all areas of life, health and disability law. In particular, he has developed substantial experience in handling ERISA-governed litigation.

About Martin E. Rosen

Martin E. Rosen is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He represents insurers and other large corporations in sophisticated litigation matters in both state and federal court. Mr. Rosen’s expertise is in the area of insurance bad faith litigation, with extensive experience in the areas of disability, life and health bad faith law, ERISA litigation, insurance agency law, class action law, unfair trade practice litigation and financial institution and general business litigation. Mr. Rosen practices at both the trial and appellate levels.

Mr. Rosen also often serves as a speaker at national conferences concerning insurance bad faith litigation, and frequently advises insurers on means of minimizing their exposure to bad faith litigation. He also serves in the local community as a Judge Pro Tem.

About Jenny H. Wang

Jenny H. Wang is a partner in Barger & Wolen's Newport Beach office. Ms. Wang’s practice primarily involves complex business and tort litigation. About Scott E. Calvert

Scott E. Calvert is a litigation associate in the firm’s Newport Beach office. He has worked on a wide range of litigation matters, including first-party insurance lawsuits involving individual disability insurance and ERISA-governed employee welfare benefit plans.
